Why do I meditate?

I meditate to become a calm and strong person. I mediate to live life fully aware, rather than risk the moments and years passing me by. I meditate to know myself more and be at peace with where I am at any time. I meditate to find peace. I meditate to find answers. I meditate to connect to something deeper than the mundane world. I meditate to escape from the hardships; pain, anxiety, sadness. I meditate to be comfortable with myself. I meditate to be ok with who I am. I meditate to show myself kindness. I meditate to love myself.

May 9: I meditate in order to:

What is my vision?

A confident, capable, strong individual. One who can take care of what needs to be done immediately. A person who makes people laugh, who makes people feel comfortable and calm around him. A leader, someone you can use wisdom to guide a project, a relationship, or a task. Someone with vision towards the future.

I see a leader. I want to leader a research team, with the ability to explore novel areas of machine learning. To take on difficult problems and try to solve and understand the biggest open questions and challenges facing mathematics, physics, computer science, and biology.
